Opportunity: Our client is currently seeking an experienced Technology Team Lead to join their team and play a pivotal role in driving the design, development, and delivery of high-end products for their customers.

Role Overview: As the Technology Team Lead, you will:

  • Lead the design and development of services and components of the platform.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to ensure the delivery of high-end products.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient customer and user journeys.
  • Mentor and lead a team of Full Stack Front-End, Back-End Developers, and Data Engineers.
  • Design systems with scalability and flexibility in mind.
  • Oversee the implementation of platform data architecture and management requirements.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve software quality using Scrum practices such as code review and unit testing.
  • Coordinate with other engineering and product teams on cross-functional topics.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and contribute new ideas to the team.

Responsibilities: In this role, the Technology Team Lead will be responsible for:

  • Leading the design and development of services and components of the platform.
  • Collaborating closely with the Product Owner to ensure the delivery of high-end products.
  • Ensuring smooth and efficient customer and user journeys.
  • Mentoring and leading a team of Full Stack Front-End, Back-End Developers, and Data Engineers.
  • Designing systems with scalability and flexibility in mind.
  • Overseeing the implementation of platform data architecture and management requirements.
  • Collaborating with the team to enhance software quality using Scrum practices like code review and unit testing.
  • Coordinating with other engineering and product teams on cross-functional topics.
  • Staying current with the latest technology trends and introducing innovative ideas.

Desired Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in building and maintaining high-quality, scalable web and data applications.
  • Strong proficiency with TypeScript, NodeJS, Python, and experience with at least one other programming language (Angular, ReactJS, etc.).
  • Expertise in AWS, Azure, or other cloud platform ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of backend development.
  • Strong experience in SQL, working with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, CosmoDB), and data ecosystems, along with an understanding of data architecture, governance, and management.
  • A collaborative attitude and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams of Developers.
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native technology and architecture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
