Senior SAP Service & Maintenance Expert
Role Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP CS/PM & S/4HANA Service Specialist to join our Global S/4HANA Greenfield programme. This role focuses on the end-to-end lifecycle of medical devices—from installation and preventive maintenance to complex field repairs and refurbishment—ensuring every action is documented for total regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities
Service Architecture: Design the global template for SAP Service Management, covering Device Installation, Field Service, and In-house Repair Centre processes.
Regulatory Compliance: Lead the technical design for UDI (Unique Device Identification) handling, serial number traceability, and GxP-compliant documentation (meeting FDA/MDR standards).
Contract & Warranty Management: Implement scalable solutions for complex service models, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs), warranty tracking, and loaner/refurbishment programmes.
Cross-Functional Integration: Ensure seamless data flow between Service (CS/PM) and core modules such as SD (billing), MM (spare parts), QM (complaint handling), and Finance.
Process Optimisation: Standardise global service operations while accommodating market-specific regulatory requirements in a Greenfield environment.
Requirements
SAP Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of SAP CS (Customer Service) and PM (Plant Maintenance), with a clear understanding of the transition to S/4HANA Service.
Industry Background: Extensive experience in Medical Devices or Healthcare, with deep knowledge of GxP, FDA, and MDR regulations.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Serial Number Management, Equipment Master Data, and preventive maintenance scheduling.
Language: Professional fluency in English.
Location: Based in Frankfurt, Germany (on-site 3 days per week) for the initial project phase.
