Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant (Spare Parts & Workflow Specialist)
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant for a 6-month, fully remote contract. This role is a critical addition to the Spare Parts scope team, focusing on the architecture and delivery of specific Filter Workflows within an S/4HANA environment.
Project Overview The primary technical objective is the design and implementation of Filter Workflows to manage unique approval and distribution logic for Spare Parts across global hubs. You will be instrumental in ensuring the Diagnostics (DIA) hub-and-spoke model operates with seamless integration and automated efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow Architecture: Design and implement Filter Workflows within S/4HANA to manage complex approval and distribution logic for Spare Parts across global hubs.
Sales & Distribution: Configure Sales Orders (SO), Outbound Deliveries, and Billing, specifically tailored to the Diagnostics (DIA) hub-and-spoke model.
Intercompany Alignment: Collaborate closely with MM counterparts to ensure seamless alignment between Intercompany Sales and Billing processes.
Backlog Excellence: Drive the refinement of the team backlog in Jira, ensuring technical dependencies for workflows are identified and addressed early in the PI (Program Increment).
Technical & Professional Requirements
Experience: 8+ years of SAP SD experience, with specific expertise in S/4HANA Workflow configuration and management.
Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Spare Parts logistics, including material substitution, returns, and repairable flows.
Industry Experience: Previous experience within Diagnostics (DIA) or medical device distribution is highly beneficial.
Tools: Advanced proficiency in Jira/Agile and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).
Methodology: Familiarity with the ASPIRE program’s specific Way of Working (WoW) or experience in large-scale SAFe environments.
