Senior SAP S/4HANA Project Manager (Manufacturing/Automotive)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead a critical transition to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud (RISE) for a key manufacturing site south of paris.
This is a high-visibility role requiring a unique blend of technical project governance and "on-the-ground" leadership. Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Delivery: Lead the S/4HANA implementation from the current phase through to the February 2027 Go-Live, adhering to the SAP Activate methodology.
  • Stakeholder Orchestration: Partner closely with the Plant Manager to ensure minimal disruption to automotive production lines while aligning with the Client ERP Head on global standards.
  • Global Coordination: Manage a complex delivery model, coordinating daily with functional leads in the USA and technical development teams offshore.
  • On-Site Leadership: Maintain a strong physical presence at the manufacturing site (2-3 days per week or bi-weekly) to drive change management and user adoption for 150 SAP users.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Proven track record of leading at least one full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation (Private Cloud/RISE experience preferred).
  • Industry Expertise: Deep experience in Manufacturing, ideally within the Automotive or OEM sector. Understanding of shop-floor dynamics and supply chain criticality is essential.
  • Methodology: Expert-level knowledge of SAP Activate (Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run).
  • Languages: Native or Professional Fluency in French is mandatory for local stakeholder management. Professional English is required for coordination with US and offshore teams.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage offshore technical teams and influence functional leads across different time zones.
  • Technical Context: While "Bluefield/Selective Data" experience is not mandatory, a solid understanding of data migration complexities in a brownfield/hybrid environment is highly valued.
