Senior SAP MM Functional Consultant (Intercompany Specialist)
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP MM Functional Consultant for a 6-month contract with an EU-based client. This is a fully remote role starting immediately, focusing on end-to-end Intercompany procurement flows and technical integration via IDocs within a global template.
Project Overview You will lead the functional design and optimisation of Intercompany Stock Transfer Orders (STO) and Inbound Deliveries. A critical component of this role involves managing the technical orchestration (ALE/EDI) between entities to ensure seamless, automated supply chain execution.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Design: Configure and optimise SAP MM Intercompany STOs and Inbound Deliveries within the ICSC framework.
Integration & IDocs: Manage complex IDoc mapping, troubleshooting, and ALE/EDI setups to ensure data integrity across global entities.
Agile Delivery: Participate actively in SAFe ceremonies (PI Planning, Syncs, Refinements). You will be responsible for transforming Features into high-quality User Stories adhering to INVEST principles.
ALM & Compliance: Maintain all functional specifications and configuration logs within SAP Solution Manager (SolMan). Ensure strict adherence to CSV (Computer System Validation) requirements relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
Technical & Professional Requirements
Experience: 8+ years in SAP MM, including at least two full life-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
Specialisation: Deep expertise in Intercompany Procurement and IDoc monitoring/resolution.
Industry Knowledge: Proven track record in a GxP/regulated environment (Pharma or Life Sciences is highly preferred).
Tools: Proficient in Jira/Agile and SAP SolMan.
Language: Fluent English (written and spoken).
Mindset: Outcome-oriented; ability to navigate complex global template designs rather than simply focusing on ticket completion.
