Role Overview:
We have an urgent requirement for an expert SAP FICO Consultant with over 10 years of experience to join a critical project in the Logistics Industry. The ideal candidate will be based in Paris (or willing to travel regularly) and possess deep expertise in French-specific finance nuances, banking integrations, and period-end closing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transactional Finance: Lead and manage core transactional finance processes (GL, AP, AR) ensuring operational stability and efficiency.
- Period End Close: Drive the month-end and year-end closing processes, troubleshooting issues and ensuring timely financial reporting.
- Bank Integration & Treasury: Manage complex bank integrations with a focus on French localizations. Specific expertise required in tools/interfaces such as Diapason and handling specific French nuances (e.g., SNCF/Local banking protocols).
- Controlling (CO): Support Controlling activities, including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
- Integration: Work closely with logistics teams to ensure seamless integration between Finance and Logistics modules.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience.
- Local Expertise: Proven track record with French financial regulations, banking formats, and local system integrations (specifically Diapason).
- Industry: Mandatory prior experience in the Logistics sector.
- Functional Skills:
- Expert level: SAP FI (General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting).
- Strong knowledge: Bank Communication Management (BCM) & French Banking formats.
- Solid competence: SAP CO (Overhead management, reporting).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, and capable of managing stakeholder expectations.
