About the project
A greenfield, end-to-end Kinaxis implementation for a pharmaceutical manufacturer moving its supply chain planning off Excel. You will join the core consultancy team as a senior functional lead, owning a planning stream from process design through to go-live.
This is a functional role, not a technical one. You don't need to configure Kinaxis yourself, but you must have worked with it and understand how it models demand, supply and inventory. Your job is to design the future-state processes with the client and hand clear functional specifications to the technical team who will build them.

Key responsibilities

Own a planning stream end to end – demand planning or supply planning – and be the client's go-to functional lead for it.
Map current-state (Excel-based) processes and design new future-state SCM processes across planning, operations execution and inventory management.
Lead client workshops; guide and challenge business stakeholders towards best-practice pharma planning.
Translate process designs into clear functional specifications and hand them over to the Kinaxis technical team for build.
Act as the bridge between the business and the build team through design, build, testing (SIT/UAT) and deployment.
Define planning parameters, KPIs and inventory policies (safety stock, lot sizing, shelf life, batch release).
Support the core consultancy team with stream governance, status reporting and risk management.

Required experience

Deep functional supply chain expertise in pharmaceutical, biologics or chemical manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of demand, supply and inventory planning, including S&OP / IBP processes.
Hands-on experience of at least one Kinaxis (RapidResponse / Maestro) implementation in a functional capacity.
Background in advanced planning systems (APS) – e.g. Kinaxis, SAP IBP, o9, Blue Yonder, OMP.
Proven ability to write functional specifications and work closely with technical build teams.
Manager-level consulting or in-house transformation experience, comfortable leading client workshops.
Understanding of pharma-specific constraints: GMP, batch release, shelf life, serialisation and regulated environments.
Fluent English; able to travel to Zug every two weeks.
