Location: Germany (flexible) B2 level German language is a prerequisite

Job Description:

As a Supply Chain Management Consultant at this company, you will be responsible for delivering strategic guidance, expert insights, and actionable recommendations to our clients to help them streamline their supply chain operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, implement best practices, and drive transformative change within their organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

• Lead client meetings and workshops to understand their supply chain challenges and objectives.

• Develop strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on supply chain management issues.

• Collaborate with clients to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Analysis and Assessment:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of supply chain processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement.

• Utilise data-driven insights to develop tailored solutions and strategies.

• Evaluate supply chain performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and measure success.

Strategy Development:

• Develop and recommend supply chain strategies to optimise cost, quality, and efficiency.

• Provide guidance on inventory management, demand forecasting, procurement, and logistics.

• Assist clients in the development of supply chain risk management plans.

Implementation and Change Management:

• Collaborate with client teams to implement recommended supply chain improvements.

• Oversee change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies.

• Monitor and assess the impact of changes on supply chain performance.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Mentor and coach junior consultants within the team.

• Drive knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination within the organization.

• Contribute to the professional growth and development of team members.

Qualifications:

Manager Level:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant supply chain consulting experience.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Senior Manager Level (In addition to Manager Level requirements):

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant supply chain consulting experience.

• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex supply chain projects.

• Experience in team leadership and client relationship management.

• Experience in business development and client acquisition.

Director Level (In addition to Senior Manager Level requirements):

• Minimum of 12 years of relevant supply chain consulting experience.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies at an executive level.

• Strong business development and client acquisition skills.

• Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.
