SAP Workflow Consultant – S/4HANA Greenfield | Global Pharma | Remote (Offshore)

The Opportunity
A leading global pharmaceutical organisation is undergoing a major S/4HANA greenfield transformation and requires an experienced SAP Workflow Consultant to join the programme. This is a high-visibility role on a complex, large-scale implementation with a client that takes SAP seriously.
What You'll Be Doing
Workflow Design & Development
- Design, develop, and implement SAP Business Workflows and Flexible Workflows within an S/4HANA greenfield environment
- Translate complex pharma business requirements into robust, scalable workflow solutions
- Configure workflow templates, tasks, events, and rules across key business processes
- Develop approval workflows spanning procurement, finance, HR, master data, and custom business processes
- Integrate workflows with SAP standard and custom applications
Technical Development
- Develop workflow-related objects using ABAP, OO-ABAP, Business Object Repository (BOR), SAP Business Workflow, Flexible Workflow Framework, and Fiori/My Inbox applications
- Create and maintain tasks, workflow templates, rules, events, organisational management structures, user exits, and BADIs
What We're Looking For
- Proven hands-on experience with SAP Business Workflow and Flexible Workflows in S/4HANA
- Strong ABAP and OO-ABAP development skills
- Experience on at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation (greenfield preferred)
- Pharma, life sciences, or regulated industry background highly advantageous
- Ability to work independently in a remote/offshore model with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills — able to engage with both technical teams and business stakeholders
