SAP TM Consultant (S/4HANA Greenfield Implementation)
We are seeking a senior SAP TM Consultant for an ambitious S/4HANA Greenfield implementation for a premier German client. This is a high-impact position blending deep functional expertise (70%) with strategic program management (30%).
You will be the functional heartbeat of the Transportation Management stream, bridging the gap between complex logistics requirements and cutting-edge SAP technology.
End-to-End Design: Lead the design and configuration of SAP TM on S/4HANA, specifically focusing on Advanced TM features.
Optimiser Strategy: Architect and fine-tune the Advanced Tier Optimiser to handle complex planning scenarios, ensuring maximum efficiency in route and capacity planning.
Digital Collaboration: Implement and integrate SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L) to facilitate seamless collaboration with carriers and freight forwarders.
Integration: Ensure tight integration between TM and other S/4HANA modules (EWM, SD, MM) to support a unified supply chain.
2. Program Management & Leadership (30%)
Stakeholder Workshops: Lead blueprinting and discovery workshops with business process owners in Frankfurt.
Sprint Planning: Act as the functional lead for Agile delivery, managing the backlog, defining user stories, and overseeing sprint execution.
Reporting & Governance: Provide clear status updates to the Project Management Office (PMO) and client leadership regarding milestones, risks, and functional gaps.
Required Profile
SAP TM Mastery: Proven experience in at least two full-cycle SAP TM implementations (ideally one S/4HANA Greenfield).
Technical Deep-Dive: Specialised knowledge in Advanced Tier Optimiser settings and BN4L integration.
Hybrid Skillset: You are as comfortable in the "IMG" (Configuration) as you are in front of a steering committee presenting a roadmap.
German Project Experience: Familiarity with the logistics landscape and business culture in Germany.
Language: Fluency in English is mandatory; German language skills are highly preferred for onsite workshops
