SAP SLT Consultant / Developer (SLT with SAP BTP)

Contract: 6-month contract (extension possible) | Location: Fully remote (offshore, India) | Client: Global pharmaceutical organisation | Experience: 5+ years

About the role
A leading global pharma client is seeking an experienced SAP SLT Consultant/Developer to design and deliver real-time data replication across their SAP and SAP BTP landscape. A hands-on role combining SLT configuration, ABAP development, and BTP data provisioning in a highly regulated environment. Fully remote, delivered offshore from India.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement real-time data replication from SAP ECC/S/4HANA to SAP BTP, SAP Datasphere, and SAP HANA Cloud.
• Configure and administer SLT replication servers and monitoring frameworks.
• Develop custom SLT transformation rules, field mappings, filters, and data enrichment logic in ABAP.
• Enable data provisioning for SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and other BTP services.
• Build and optimise replication scenarios for master and transactional data with minimal latency.
• Troubleshoot replication failures, logging table issues, and performance bottlenecks across SAP and BTP landscapes.
• Perform ABAP debugging and support custom development for data replication and integration.
• Produce technical documentation and architecture diagrams while ensuring data governance and security compliance.

• 5+ years hands-on SAP SLT and data replication experience.
• Strong ABAP development and debugging.
• Proven experience with SAP BTP, SAP Datasphere, and SAP HANA Cloud.
• Working knowledge of S/4HANA, SAP Integration Suite, and HANA SQL.
• Replication scenario design and performance tuning.
