Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Senior Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing SAP projects in either the healthcare/life science, insurance, banking, or financial service industries. As a German speaker, you will play a vital role in engaging with clients and stakeholders within the Swiss market. This position demands a strategic thinker with a strong business acumen to drive business development, revenue generation, and successful SAP delivery and implementation.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare/life science, insurance, banking, or financial service sectors.
- Collaborate with our client's business development teams to create compelling proposals and pitches for potential clients.
- Leverage industry expertise and networks to expand our client's presence in the Swiss market.
2. Revenue Generation:
- Drive revenue growth through successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, understanding their business needs, and providing value-added solutions through SAP services.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
3. SAP Delivery/Implementation:
- Oversee the end-to-end SAP project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and post-go-live support.
- Provide guidance and leadership to project teams, ensuring they adhere to industry best practices and our client's quality standards.
- Address and resolve any issues or risks that may arise during the project, ensuring smooth and successful delivery.
4. Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SAP consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members to support their professional growth.
5. Client Engagement and Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with clients and key stakeholders to understand their business challenges and objectives, offering tailored SAP solutions to address their needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor on SAP-related matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory, as this role requires interaction with German-speaking clients.
- Proven experience in business development, revenue generation, and successful delivery of SAP projects in the healthcare/life science, insurance, banking, or financial service industries.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP solutions, including but not limited to SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP CRM, and SAP BI/BO.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities to address complex business challenges.
- Project management experience and certification (PMP, Prince2, or similar) is an advantage.
