SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) Functional Design Lead (S/4HANA Transformation)
Role & Responsibilities:
The SAP RAR Consultant will act as a key functional lead supporting the Finance / Record-to-Report (R2R) Stream Lead. They will be responsible for delivering the Global Template design for SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) functionalities, ensuring full compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 standards within the S/4HANA Greenfield transformation.

Key Deliverables & Functional Lead Accountabilities
Lead Workshops: Lead and facilitate workshops for Fit/Gap assessment vs SAP Standard for revenue recognition processes, focusing on modeling complex Performance Obligations (POBs) and ensuring integration with upstream systems (e.g., SD/Billing).
Global Template Design: Develop and document the detailed Global Template solution design for RAR, including configuration of POB determination, contract allocation, and fulfilment rules, alongside necessary functional specifications.
Stakeholder Management: Proactively engage and manage stakeholders across Finance (Controllership, Accounting Policy), Commercial, and IT functions to achieve consensus on the new standard revenue recognition processes.
Process Harmonisation: Drive end-to-end process harmonisation efforts, ensuring the new design successfully transitions the business to the new IFRS 15 / ASC 606 accounting standards while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Handover: Ensure a smooth handover of finalised blueprint documents and functional specifications to the offshore/onshore build teams for the subsequent realisation phase.

Contract Details
Duration: 6-12 Month Contract
Start Date: November
Location: Frankfurt (3 days bi-week on-site: typically Tuesday - Thursday). Parking available.
Language: Fluent English is required; German is a positive asset.
Experience: Previous Pharma/Life Science sector experience is a significant advantage.
