SAP MM Consultant – S/4HANA / MDG-M
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to join a central technical expertise team supporting Material Master governance in an S/4HANA environment. The role combines hands-on MM execution, MDG-M knowledge, and strong collaboration with key users and business stakeholders.
Core SAP MM Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Material Master (MM)
- Deep understanding of material types, views, field control, and cross-module dependencies
- End-to-end process knowledge of MM01 / MM02 / MM03
- Ability to perform system actions independently and accurately
- Strong documentation discipline (functional specs, data definitions, process flows)
Material Master Governance & MDG-M
- Experience with SAP MDG-M (Material Master Governance) is a strong plus
- Hands-on knowledge of MDG change requests, workflows, and approvals
- Familiarity with mass change frameworks in MDG
- Understanding of data quality rules, validations, and governance models
- Ability to manage and work through a backlog of master data–related tasks
Central Team & Key User Support
- Part of a central technical/functional expertise team
- Act as a subject-matter expert to:
- Guide and support key users
- Provide functional escalation and best-practice guidance
- Execute complex or sensitive master data changes
- Strong collaboration with business, IT, and governance teams
Working Model & Location
- Onsite presence: 3 days per week
- Remaining days remote
