Senior Consultant – SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Senior Consultant to join our globally renowned consultancy and drive digital transformation for top-tier clients. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP MDG solutions, ensuring seamless data governance, quality, and compliance. You will work closely with key business stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership to deliver high-impact solutions that enhance data integrity and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP MDG Implementation & Optimization: Lead end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of SAP MDG solutions across industries.
• Master Data Management: Provide expertise in data governance, master data lifecycle management, data quality, and data integration across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.
• S/4HANA Transformation: Drive SAP MDG implementations within S/4HANA environments, ensuring best practices and future-proof solutions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior business leaders, data owners, and IT teams to define and implement data governance strategies.
• Hands-On Execution: Configure SAP MDG components, including data models, workflows, BRF+, and UI customization, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Data Quality & Compliance: Establish data validation, cleansing, and approval workflows to improve data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Process Automation & Innovation: Leverage SAP Intelligent Data Management tools, automation, and AI-driven solutions for enhanced data governance.
• Training & Change Management: Support knowledge transfer and adoption, ensuring seamless integration of SAP MDG into business operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• SAP MDG Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in SAP Master Data Governance, including configuration, customization, and integration.
• Master Data Knowledge: Deep understanding of master data domains (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, etc.) and governance frameworks.
• SAP S/4HANA Experience: Proven experience with SAP MDG on S/4HANA and migration projects.
• Consulting Experience: Prior experience in a consulting role, working with multinational clients on data governance transformation.
• Stakeholder & Client Management: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives, data owners, and technical teams.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to analyze complex data challenges and provide innovative, strategic solutions.
• Language Skills: Fluency in German (mandatory) and English.
