Role: SAP FICO Lead Type: Contract Project: NL Wave Transformation Go-Live Date: 1 July 2027 Location: Hybrid (NL / Paris / Remote)
Project Overview We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO Lead to spearhead the Finance stream for the Netherlands wave of a global SAP roll-out. This is a high-visibility role requiring a senior consultant who can navigate a demanding client environment and manage complex integrations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the NL wave, ensuring alignment with global templates while addressing specific local requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the NL Finance Stream: Act as the primary point of contact for the Dutch business entities, managing stakeholder expectations and delivering robust technical solutions.
Controlling Excellence: Take full ownership of the CO module, specifically focusing on the PMP process, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle for the NL wave—from initial planning and project creation through to reporting and final closure.
Integration Management: Ensure seamless integration between SAP FI/CO and Treasury, Document Reporting and Compliance (DRC), and e-Invoicing solutions.
Stakeholder Management: Manage a demanding client landscape, providing proactive "heads-up" communication and expert guidance throughout the project.
Technical & Functional Scope Candidates must demonstrate senior-level expertise in the following areas:
Financial Accounting (FI): Core FI modules, including integration with DRC and e-Invoicing.
Treasury: Functional support and system integration.
Controlling (CO) - Deep Dive:
Performance Management & PMP Processes.
Budgeting & Forecasting.
Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
Project Systems/Controlling: Creation, planning, management, and closure of projects.
Production of complex project reporting.
Requirements
Seniority: Extensive experience as an SAP FICO Lead on large-scale, international roll-outs.
Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills; ability to remain grounded in high-pressure environments.
Languages:English (Fluent). Dutch is preferred but not mandatory.
Mobility: * Netherlands: Monthly on-site presence required (typically 3 days per month).
Paris: Frequent travel (e.g. every other week) required following the project kick-off.
Logistics & Compensation
Daily Rate: Flexible (dependent on experience).
Expenses: Travel expenses to Paris HQ are covered. Travel to the NL site is not expensed.
Duration: Long-term contract aligned with the July 2027 go-live.
