SAP EWM Solution Design Manager (6+ Month Contract)

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP EWM Expert with strong Project Management skills for a 6-month European contract. This role is predominantly remote and focuses on designing and delivering EWM solutions within a global S/4HANA program, specifically for "Own Warehouse" manufacturing setups.

The Role

Working alongside SCM and Manufacturing Design Leads, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution. You will own the solution design, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with MES and broader supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design: Lead the conceptual design and build of EWM solutions for upcoming S/4 releases.
Process Integration: Align EWM with Manufacturing (staging), Intercompany Order Management, and Procurement.
Stakeholder Management: Moderate workshops with Global Process Owners and Business Champions to challenge and refine requirements.
Project Delivery: Manage UAT, data migration, and master data preparation; ensure functional specifications align with global core models.
Operational Support: Update SOPs, training materials, and provide expert support during Cutover and Hypercare.

Requirements

SAP EWM Expert: Extensive experience in SAP EWM implementations and deployments (ideally as a Team Lead).
Industry Background: Proven experience in Manufacturing/Logistics, ideally within the Pharmaceutical sector.
Technical Integration: Strong understanding of EWM integration with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Project Management: Proven ability to manage deliverables and timelines in a fast-paced, global matrix environment.
Communication: Fluent English; capable of leading workshops and influencing senior stakeholders.
Mindset: Forward-thinking, fast learner, and highly quality-oriented.
