The Opportunity We are seeking a high-calibre SAP EWM Business Consultant to bridge the gap between complex pharmaceutical business requirements and technical system design. This role is strictly business-facing, requiring a consultant who can navigate the intricacies of a global pharma environment, manage senior stakeholders, and translate L4 business requirements into robust functional designs.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Engineering: Facilitate workshops with Business SMEs and stakeholders to capture, define, and validate L4 requirements.
Design Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the business and the technical design team to ensure SAP EWM solutions align with operational needs.
Production Integration: Lead the integration of EWM with advanced, delivery-based Production Integration, ensuring seamless shop-floor connectivity.
Process Documentation: Develop comprehensive user guidelines, SOPs, and training materials to support global user adoption.
Technical Profile
Core Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of SAP EWM, specifically within Advanced Production Integration.
Manufacturing Integration: Proven experience in SAP PP & PP-PI across both Discrete and Process manufacturing environments.
Pharma Specifics: Strong familiarity with PI-Sheets and xSteps is highly preferred.
Extended Ecosystem: Knowledge of SAP BTP, CLM, and DMS processes is considered a significant advantage.
Candidate Requirements
Industry Experience: Previous experience in a validated (GxP) Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical environment is essential.
Consultative Mindset: Ability to challenge the status quo and guide business stakeholders toward standard SAP best practices.
Communication: Fluent English (written and spoken) with the ability to distil complex technical concepts for non-technical business leaders.
Availability: Must be based in the EU and available for a full-time 6-month engagement.
