E-Invoicing Project Manager – Germany

Role: E-Invoicing Project Manager
Location: Germany
Duration: 6–12 months (contract; extension possible depending on project requirements)

Brief Job Description

We are seeking an experienced E-Invoicing Project Manager to lead the implementation and rollout of e-invoicing capabilities in Germany. The role will coordinate cross-functional teams across Finance, Tax, IT, Procurement, and external vendors, ensuring the solution meets German/EU regulatory requirements and is delivered on time.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong Project/Program Management experience, ideally within Finance, Tax, ERP, or digital transformation
• Hands-on experience with E-Invoicing / Electronic Invoicing implementations
• Good knowledge of German e-invoicing requirements and EU VAT regulations
• Experience managing ERP integrations, preferably SAP
• Understanding of invoice-to-pay / order-to-cash processes
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
• Experience managing requirements, testing/UAT, implementation, risks, and dependencies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across global, cross-functional teams
• Fluent English; German language skills strongly preferred
