SAP Data Migration Specialist – Manufacturing
Location: Remote Time zone coverage: LATAM business hours Duration: ASAP start – engagement running May 2026 to July 2027 Languages required: Fluent English and Portuguese
About the role We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Specialist to support a global ERP release within a large-scale data migration programme. The role sits on the business side of data migration rather than IT, and is focused on Manufacturing data objects. You will work as part of the Service Provider's team delivering a defined scope of work, with coverage aligned to LATAM time zones for the respective release.
Key responsibilities The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end business data migration activities, including:
Performing data cleansing across in-scope Manufacturing objects
Collecting data for manual and construction objects
Preparing value mappings between legacy and target systems
Creating and maintaining master lists
Ensuring overall data readiness and verifying data quality
Reviewing and approving upload files both before and after load
Executing manual (type-in) data loads into target clients
Performing dual maintenance during cutover and stabilisation periods
Executing and approving data verification scripts to confirm load integrity
Required experience and capabilities
Strong SAP business process and data knowledge in Manufacturing (mandatory)
Proven experience on ERP project implementations
Hands-on business-side data migration experience (not IT-led migration)
Fluency in English and Portuguese
Availability to work within LATAM time zones for the duration of the release
