About the role A global life sciences leader is building out its SAP Business AI capability and is looking for a hands-on SAP BTP AI Developer to work alongside its AI team. You'll design and build AI-powered applications, agents and Joule capabilities across the SAP landscape, accelerating AI adoption and helping shape the wider SAP Business AI roadmap.
Key responsibilities
Develop AI-powered applications, agents, workflows and Joule capabilities using SAP BTP and Joule Studio
Build and extend Joule Skills and AI Agents for business-specific use cases
Deliver AI solutions using SAP AI Core, Generative AI Hub and SAP Business AI services
Implement RAG and enterprise knowledge integration patterns
Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting and lifecycle management of AI solutions
Ensure adherence to SAP Clean Core and BTP extension best practices
Support SAP Managed Joule deployment approaches where applicable
Essential skills
Hands-on development experience with SAP BTP and Joule Studio
Working knowledge of SAP AI Core, Generative AI Hub and SAP Business AI services
Experience implementing RAG / LLM-based solutions and enterprise knowledge integration
SAP CAP (Node.js) and BTP extension development in line with Clean Core principles
Solid grasp of the AI solution lifecycle: deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting
Desirable
SAP Certified – Generative AI Developer (or equivalent)
Experience in a regulated / life sciences environment
Python, HANA Cloud vector, LangChain/LangGraph or similar orchestration frameworks
