Lead SAP SD (Order-to-Cash) Consultant
Duration: 6 Months (Initial) Location: Germany Project: S/4HANA Greenfield Start Date: ASAP Expenses: All travel and accommodation for site visits are fully reimbursed.
The Opportunity We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Lead SAP SD Consultant to drive the Order-to-Cash (OTC) solution for an international S/4HANA template creation. This is not just a "config" role; you will be the functional lead, bridging the gap between technical architecture and business operations. You will be responsible for defining the global sales template, ensuring seamless integration with finance and logistics, and managing the complexities of advanced pricing and global trade.
Core Responsibilities
Lead the OTC Stream: Take full ownership of the Sales and Distribution (SD) module within the S/4HANA template rollout.
Design & Drive: Lead design workshops, validate global templates against local requirements, and drive the adoption of S/4HANA Best Practices.
S/4HANA Hands-on: Perform end-to-end design, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting within the S/4HANA environment.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for senior sales and supply chain stakeholders, translating complex OTC processes into clear business value.
Technical Profile & Experience The ideal candidate will be an expert in the End-to-End Order-to-Cash cycle and must possess:
S/4HANA Expertise: Minimum of 1 full-lifecycle S/4HANA deployment (Greenfield or Brownfield). Familiarity with the simplified data model and "Sales" vs. traditional SD.
Advanced Pricing & Billing: Deep knowledge of complex condition techniques, taxes, and S/4HANA Billing Output Management (BRF+).
Integration (O2C Value Flow): Strong understanding of integration points with FI/CO (Account Determination), MM (Availability Check/ATP), and LE (Shipping).
Global Trade & Logistics: Experience with Credit Management (FSCM), International Trade, and ideally, Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP).
Soft Skills & Requirements
Proactive Leadership: You don’t wait for tickets; you identify gaps in the global template and propose scalable fixes.
Communication: Fluent English is required (German is a plus but not mandatory).
Mobility: Ability to travel to the client site in Germany frequently for workshops and key project milestones.
