Masentó Search have been exclusively engaged by a global industrial giant to find a senior professional to lead their Digital Strategy Development.

This role will sit within Corporate Strategy, but will have extremely close ties to the Digital Transformation team.

Job Description

Help shape the future:
As a team member of the "Corporate Strategy Development" department, you will support the board of management and the Chief Digital Officer in developing and evolving our strategy and strategy framework. Your focus will be on the development of the digital strategies, business models and monitor the competitive landscape.

Take responsibility:
You will drive and own strategy development and strategic projects on corporate- and cross-divisional level, as well as company-wide strategic portfolio management. This ranges from existing core businesses, emerging digital businesses to new business fields or technologies spanning multiple divisions.

Experience cooperation:
You will work with and support selected divisions as strategic advisor, serving as business partner to sparring strategic questions and the strategic tool-set.

Networked communication:
You will work on cross-divisional, corporate and international tasks assigned by the Board of Management and the Chief Digital Officer and gain unique insights into the group through leadership of strategic projects. You will engage with executive stakeholders and communicate strategies to the respective audiences. You will work in close collaboration and as an extended member of the digital transformation office.

Conscientious coordination:
You will co-create and propose strategic fields and actions to target groups based on thorough analyses and you will be responsible to create transparency as a basis for substantial strategic decisions.

Qualifications
Education:
Successfully completed studies in economics, technology or computer science (Master, MBA, PhD) or comparable qualification

Personality:
Results-oriented, team-player, highly motivated, reliable, assertive and comfortable with presenting to and discussing with top management

Working Practice:
Autonomous, agile, structured, analytical and goal oriented. Strong communication skills (on C-level)

Experience and Knowledge:
Several years of work experience of which minimum three years in management consulting or managerial functions, ideally dedicated strategy development experience, deep knowledge of business and information technology/computer science, proven expertise in functional methods and project management required for corporate, business and digital strategy as well as digital transformation and M&A, proficient MS Office skills

Enthusiasm:
Enjoys working in a corporate environment, strong pike in entrepreneurial thinking and business development as well as comfortable with uncertainty and decision taking in highly complex and volatile environments

Languages:
Very good German and English skills both written and spoken Back
