Director – Digital Applications (Healthcare) | Strategy & Digital Consulting

Our client, a leading Big 4 consultancy, is seeking a Director to lead and expand its Digital Applications offering within the Healthcare practice. This role focuses on advising hospitals, providers, health insurers, public healthcare organisations, and broader sector stakeholders on the strategy, design, and implementation of digital applications that improve clinical operations, patient experience, data quality and organisational performance.
The role will combine strategic advisory with hands?on digital transformation leadership, and is open to candidates with experience across strategy, digital, technology, data, or healthcare consulting.

Ideal candidates will bring:
Extensive consulting experience in healthcare with a focus on digital applications, clinical systems or digital transformation
Strong understanding of healthcare provider workflows, clinical systems, digital health, and sector regulations
Proven experience leading large-scale digital or technology-enabled transformations
Ability to engage senior stakeholders across hospitals, insurers, public health institutions and regulators
Commercial skills including business development, account leadership and portfolio growth
Strong team leadership capabilities, developing senior managers and multidisciplinary teams
Excellent analytical, communication and conceptual problem?solving skills
Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
Industry candidates with senior leadership experience in health IT or digital transformation (e.g., CIO/CDO-level roles in providers or payer organisations) are also encouraged.
