About the Role:

Join the Financial Systems team and help us transform how Finance works. We are building a modern finance application platform using a cutting-edge SAP technology stack, including S/4HANA, BRIM (FICA, Convergent Mediation/CI), ABAP, and Kafka.

As a Senior Developer specialised in SAP Convergent Mediation (CM), you will be the technical expert responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and scaling of high-performance data integration solutions. You will be critical in collecting, reconciling, and transforming vast amounts of business-critical data from upstream systems into financial transactions for FICA and Convergent Invoicing (CI).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead CM Solutioning: Lead the design and architecture of complex, scalable, and high-performance solutions using SAP Convergent Mediation (CM), Convergent Invoicing (CI), and FICA.

• Develop Workflows: Build robust CM workflows and configurations to collect, process, and reconcile Finance-specific data via Kafka, REST, File/FTP, HANA, and other methods.

• Integration and Coding: Apply deep expertise in APL (Application Programming Language) to build and debug complex CM issues, ensuring seamless integration between upstream systems and the SAP BRIM ecosystem.

• Quality and Automation: Drive the creation of Unit, Integration, and Automation tests for CM workflows, and ensure integration with version control systems like Git/GitLab.

• Architecture & Mentorship: Proactively identify technical gaps, drive architectural improvements, and mentor junior developers on CM best practices and standards.

• Collaboration: Work closely with SAP Functional Specialists, ABAP Developers, Architects, and Product Managers to align technical solutions with strategic business needs.

Skills & Experience You'll Bring:

• Experience: 10+ years of software design and development experience, with a focus on enterprise integration and related technologies.

• SAP Convergent Mediation (CM) Mastery (Mandatory): In-depth, hands-on knowledge of SAP/Digital Route Convergent Mediation is essential, with proven ability to build and scale complex workflows.

• SAP BRIM Ecosystem: Strong experience in end-to-end solution architecture within the SAP BRIM ecosystem, focusing on Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes (payments, orders, etc.).

• Technical Stack: Advanced knowledge of APL, Agents, Analysis, and IWF within CM. Hands-on experience with SAP HANA and working with large datasets, including Kafka, REST API, and data formats like Avro.

• Engineering Practices: Experience with version control systems (Git/GitLab) and a focus on building robust Unit, Integration, and Automation tests.
