About the Project:
Join a major SAP S/4HANA deployment project as an SAP Ariba Lead for a prominent client in South Africa. This role is critical in optimising procurement processes through integrated SAP Ariba and S/4HANA solutions.
The Role:
Lead the SAP Ariba workstream from design to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with S/4HANA. You will translate business requirements into effective Ariba solutions, managing configuration, integration, testing, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the SAP Ariba workstream (design, configuration, implementation, deployment).
- Architect robust SAP Ariba solutions (e.g., Sourcing, P2P, Supplier Management, Contracts) integrated with S/4HANA.
- Oversee Ariba module configuration and manage necessary customizations.
- Drive integration strategy between SAP Ariba cloud and S/4HANA (e.g., via CPI).
- Facilitate requirements gathering, testing, and go-live activities for Ariba.
- Liaise effectively with business stakeholders, IT, and external partners.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years SAP experience, with 5+ years specializing in SAP Ariba implementations.
- Proven Lead/Architect experience on SAP Ariba deployment projects.
- Strong experience with a full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation, particularly with Ariba integration.
- Deep functional and technical knowledge across multiple SAP Ariba modules (Sourcing, P2P, Contracts, SLP, etc.).
- Excellent understanding of SAP Ariba to S/4HANA integration methods (e.g., CPI).
- Strong grasp of procurement business processes and best practices.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English.
