About the Role
Our client is a highly specialized consulting firm with a strong reputation for delivering strategic and technology-driven solutions. They are seeking an experienced Market Lead to spearhead growth in Switzerland. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for business development, client engagement, and market expansion.
The successful candidate will combine entrepreneurial drive with strategic vision to build and scale a profitable consulting business in one of Europe’s most dynamic markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Development & Positioning
- Establish and strengthen the firm’s presence in Switzerland across Life Sciences, MedTech, Chemicals, and related supplier industries.
- Position the company’s specialist service portfolio and, where relevant, the broader Group offerings (e.g., cloud, security, custom development, analytics).
- End-to-End Sales & Delivery Leadership
- Own the full lifecycle: acquisition, proposal development, project initiation, delivery oversight, and long-term client relationship management.
- Ensure seamless orchestration of delivery through internal teams and partner networks (freelancers, nearshore/offshore).
- Strategic Growth Planning
- Develop market segmentation and go-to-market strategies aligned with growth themes.
- Define and execute a 3–5-year business plan, including revenue, cost, and margin targets.
- Team Building & Leadership
- Assess the need for a local Swiss team and lead recruitment and development efforts.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on client success and innovation.
- Operational Excellence
- Prepare a comprehensive 100-day action plan prior to onboarding.
- Define requirements for Group support (resources, capabilities, portfolio alignment).

- Deep network within the Swiss market, ideally across Life Sciences, MedTech, and Chemicals.

- Demonstrated success in building and scaling consulting or service-oriented businesses.

- Delivery Orchestration
- Ability to manage complex sales and delivery processes end-to-end, leveraging partner ecosystems.

- Seniority and credibility to engage with C-level stakeholders and drive transformational initiatives.
