Job Title: Chief Data Officer (CDO)

Position Overview: We are seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Data Officer (CDO) to lead and expand our client's data strategy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data management, analytics, and governance, and a proven track record of leading successful data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business objectives and drives innovation.
- Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Analytics & Insights: Oversee the development and implementation of advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions to provide actionable insights.
- Technology Integration: Leverage emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning, to enhance data capabilities and drive business outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Thought Leadership: Act as a thought leader in the data space, contributing to industry publications, speaking at conferences, and representing the organization in various forums.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in data management, analytics, or a related field, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of data governance, data architecture, data analytics, and emerging data technologies.
- Education: Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Skills: Proven ability to lead large-scale data initiatives, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strategic mindset.
- Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, Certified Analytics Professional) are a plus.
