Role Overview:
As a Partner within our Digital Transformation practice for Life Sciences, you will be responsible for shaping and growing our strategic offerings across the sector. You will lead the development and execution of business strategies, focusing on client acquisition, relationship management, and driving the growth of our digital transformation capabilities. In addition to business development, you will play a key role in building and leading a high-performing team, ensuring that we deliver transformative solutions to life sciences clients. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and rapidly growing practice within a global consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Client Acquisition

   • Lead the development and execution of the business strategy to grow the digital transformation practice within the life sciences sector in Germany and across Europe.
   • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your extensive network within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotech, and healthcare sectors.
   • Cultivate and deepen relationships with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders, becoming their trusted advisor on digital transformation strategies.
   • Actively drive the sales process, from lead generation to closing, ensuring alignment with client needs and strategic goals.
   • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and forums, establishing thought leadership and enhancing the firm’s brand within the life sciences space.

2. Practice Building & Leadership

   • Build, lead, and grow a high-performing team of digital transformation professionals focused on the life sciences industry.
   • Shape the strategic vision of the practice, creating and refining service offerings that deliver value and drive business results for clients.
   • Drive the recruitment, training, and development of top talent, ensuring the team stays at the forefront of digital technologies and industry trends.
   • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team, ensuring alignment with the firm’s values and strategic goals.
   • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and other practice areas to deliver integrated solutions and create cross-functional synergies.

3. Client Delivery & Solution Innovation

   • Lead large-scale, complex digital transformation projects across the life sciences sector, ensuring successful delivery and value creation.
   • Advise clients on the adoption of emerging digital technologies, including AI, data analytics, cloud computing, and automation, to transform business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
   • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, translating those into innovative digital strategies and solutions.
   • Ensure the successful implementation and scaling of digital transformation initiatives, driving measurable outcomes and sustained success for clients.
   • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure that our offerings remain cutting-edge and relevant.

4. Strategic Input & Thought Leadership

   • Collaborate with senior leadership to define the long-term vision and strategic goals of the digital transformation practice within life sciences.
   • Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership, including writing white papers, participating in industry discussions, and shaping the digital transformation agenda for life sciences.
   • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements, positioning the firm as a forward-thinking leader in the digital space.

• Proven Leadership in Digital Transformation – Extensive experience in leading digital transformation initiatives, with a deep understanding of technologies such as AI, cloud, data analytics, IoT, and automation, and their applications within the life sciences industry.
• Strong Network & Business Development Expertise – A robust network within the life sciences ecosystem, including relationships with key decision-makers in pharmaceuticals, biotech, healthcare, and medical devices. Demonstrated success in driving business growth and securing large-scale projects.
• Industry Knowledge – In-depth understanding of the life sciences sector, including challenges related to compliance, regulatory requirements, R&D, supply chain, and patient outcomes.
• Consulting Expertise – A track record of delivering consulting services to major clients, particularly in the context of large, multi-stakeholder, digital transformation projects.
• Strategic Vision & Execution – A visionary leader with the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans, delivering measurable results for both clients and the practice.
• Team Leadership & Development – Strong experience in leading, mentoring, and building diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
