Masentò are working with a global data virtualization software company that are seeking a Pre Sales Engineer to join their team in USA on a permanent basis.
You MUST be based in New York, USA for this position.
- Key Deliverables:
- Serve as the lead technical product contact for prospects throughout the sales process
- Manage existing accounts, develop and deliver on new growth opportunities
- Identify new target accounts and come up with strategies and measures to gain access to those accounts
- Identify and pursue potential business opportunities then convert them into profitable revenue
- Travel to various locations, collaborate with engineers to perform on-site technical support, debugging, trouble shooting, integration, and training services
- Self-motivated with a consistent track record in technical software sales and knowledge of technology
- 5+ years as a Sales/Solution Engineer, Consultant or Enterprise Architect
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to interact with technical and business counterparts
- Knowledge and experience on Enterprise Architecture Best Practices and Frameworks will be a plus
- Solid understanding of SQL and a good grasp of relational and analytical database management theory and practice. Understanding and optimization of complex queries.
- Understanding of Data Integration flavors (ETL/Data Warehousing, ESB/Messaging, DV).
- Understanding of BigData, NoSQL, in-memory, MPP environments is welcome.
