Head of Legal

• This is a new role in a start-up company that is focused on building software solutions for the Life Sciences industry.
• The company will design and develop own IP as well as co-design and co-develop customer IP.
• The company requires a legal function that will support a fast-growing business.
• Single point of contact for all legal aspects for a technology/software start-up company.
• Support overall set-up of the organization including creation of country affiliates and/or local branches globally.
• Provide tactical and strategic advice to CEO and Executive Board with regards to legal/compliance matters; early assessment of potential legal challenges.
• Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, specifically for services and software products.
• IP protection.
• Legal risk management.
• Direct report to the CEO.
• Close collaboration with CFO, Head of HR, Head of Products, Head of Compliance (GDPR, data protection, information security), Head of Marketing and Communications and others.
• Ideally based in Switzerland or Germany
