Senior Expert – Tax & Banking (SAP Finance)
Location: Düsseldorf
Company: Global Engineering / Manufacturing Business
We are currently seeking a Senior Expert in SAP Finance to support a major SAP S/4HANA program. You will play a key role in global rollout projects and provide daily support to our international business partners.
Your Responsibilities
- Contribute full-time to the global SAP S/4HANA implementation project
- Customize and enhance SAP Finance with a strong focus on VAT, Tax, and Banking
- Map and optimize business processes to improve operational efficiency
- Support business functions in their daily operations
- Participate in testing, training, and user enablement
- Take an active role in data migration, cutover activities, and hypercare support
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field
- Several years of experience in a similar role; practical experience in a Finance department is a plus
- Preferable experience with Vertex tax solutions
- Strong expertise in SAP Finance (FI)
- Ability to design and visualize system processes based on business requirements
- Solid understanding of VAT processes and data integration from other SAP modules
- Experience with banking interfaces and middleware (e.g., TIS)
- Practical knowledge of tax-related solutions such as SAF?T
- Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage
- Forward-thinking, results-driven, and able to drive projects toward successful completion
- Excellent communication skills and high intercultural competence
