Job Description – Global Business Development Director

The client is a modern data integration platform, trusted by all sizes of enterprises across industries to seamlessly teleport operational data to real-time analytical environments. Built for scalability, ingests data in real-time, as it is created, from any number of data resources. It processes and transforms the data before streaming it to target applications or systems. It harnesses the power of Spark & Kafka in an end-to-end, enterprise-grade solution – helping organizations rapidly accelerate past traditional ETL or open-source implementations through a no code UI platform.

The client are a rapidly growing exciting technology company leading the market in Data Integration. This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage, embedding yourself in the foundations of the organisation.

We are looking for an intelligent, highly motivated, self-starter profile who is passionate about technology and developing meaningful relationships with customers through strategic partnerships.

This is a critical role for the client with the successful candidate taking a Global lead on this important area of business development. Economic success will lead to a rewarding career path.
Your Role:

  • Identify and nurture partnerships to drive growth
  • Set targets and strategy for securing new clients
  • Continuously build and extend industry network by identifying and working with key industry
  • Consistent high levels of activity to ensure a strong pipeline of potential deals
  • Manage entire sales cycle from prospecting right through to closure
  • Work with partners/ channels to ensure correct processes and guidelines
  • Establish the client as the go to Data Ingestion Platform across industries and geographies
  • Lead business development efforts with various strategic and technical alliances
  • Carry sales quota to be fulfilled by partners/ channels
  • Focus on recruiting, enabling and managing sales with ISVs, Resellers and Strategic partners

Your Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in channel sales / channel management

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships while delivering positive results
  • Executive presence to lead and manage strategic global partners
  • Experience in identifying market opportunities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and effectively negotiate agreements
  • Experience in working with partners and channels, building a program that drives demand and

sales

  • Proven track record of driving customer value and expanding brand presence through partnerships
